For Job Seekers

RP Skills Services never charges Candidates for its services. We suggest you should never work with any agency that wants to charge you for their services.
We require the following:
  • Resume
  • OSHA 10*
  • Technical Skills Assessment
  • Background and Drug test
  • *Some clients require additional certifications
Yes, we call you to discuss the location and length of the assignment, specific equipment being serviced, and per diem offered for each position our clients desire; if you approve we then staff you on the assignment.
We pay you every week via Direct Deposit or if you do not have a bank account to a Skylight Visa Card.
Many assignments pay Per Diem. The amount varies based on client, job location and a variety of other factors. We issue you a Comdata card (Visa) which we fund your per diem (typically weekly) to allow you freedom and flexibility to spend as required.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance. The RP Skills Services HR department can discuss all our benefits with you in detail.
If the assignment is local in most cases you drive and are paid mileage. However, if required to fly RP or the client will make flight and car/transportation arrangements for you.
Most assignments require a basic toolkit (see attached for basic tools required).

For Employers

This depends on the requirements of the job. Many requests can be handled within 24 hours. Some specific technical positions may take a few days to find and ID staff with a specific skill set.
That depends on the service you require. Our staffing services are charged typically on a percentage mark-up or by an hourly bill rate. A RP Skilled Services representative will be happy to provide more detail on pricing.
We perform an overview screening, pre-employment skills assessment, certification verification, education and reference checks, as well as, drug screen and criminal background check. The screening process is unique for each client based on specific client requirements. All staff is verified to be eligible to work in the United States using E-Verify.

We post open jobs on our own website, as well as a variety of online job boards. We use a variety of other methods such as social media and referral bonuses; however, our most effective method is referrals from word-of-mouth thanks to the respect and opportunities we provide our employees.
